On Southwest Airlines people who do not fit in the seat with both armrests down are charged for a second seat. In Europe, they are instituting a "tubby tax" and people who are deemed overweight are charged by the kilo. What do you think? Is it discrimination?

Once upon a time my husband and I boarded an airplane. We were sat while the rest of the passengers were boarding themselves. We were seated on a three-seat isle. I was in the middle, and my husband was seated at the window. The seat next to me was empty.
A very large man boarding stopped by us, pulled up the arm rest next to me and the empty seat and said "excuse me...but I'm a kinda big man" and then squeezed his huge self between me and the armrest on my side.
The man was so big that I had to pull up the armrest between my husband and I to keep from being squeezed to death from him. My husband and I sat squeezed together for the rest of the flight in one and a half seats, while that man took up the other one and a half seats.
Do I think that people should pay for two seats?
YOU BET HIS ASS I DO!
