Gun Control?

This shooting at Virginia Tech has many people talking about gun control, but what do you think? Is gun control the answer or it is just the easy answer?

Guns were already prohibited from the VT campus.

The focus should be on earlier detection and better treatment of sociopaths. The VT killer has been reported as having mental problems. Even the kids who killed at Columbine have been reported as being sociopaths.

Gun control starts at keeping deranged people like this from the general populace.

Considering the sheer incredible number of guns that responsible people own in the United States, this incident is statistically minor compared to irresponsible peoples who drink and drive!

drunk driving deaths: http://www.cdc.gov/ncipc/factsheets/drving.htm

Look at the number of knives, hammers/clubs, bare hands used to kill!!!

Anyone remember the other shooting in VA with the Appalachian law school?

Google search found these:

Notice how the media did not mention the two off duty LEO's who went back to their vehicles to get thier guns to stop the killer?
