On Southwest Airlines people who do not fit in the seat with both armrests down are charged for a second seat. In Europe, they are instituting a "tubby tax" and people who are deemed overweight are charged by the kilo. What do you think? Is it discrimination?

Grocery Store Strike

If there is another grocery store stike, will you cross the picket line? That was our "You Be the Judge " segment today. The majority of listeners said they would NOT cross the lines. But about a third of the callers said they would. We want to know what you think.

It's official. Larry Birkhead IS the father of little Dannielynn Hope. Dannielynn is daughter of Anna Nicole Smith and Larry Birkhead. Birkhead walked out of the coursthouse and said, "I told you so!"

I would like to take this opportunity to also say, "I told you so." I called this months ago. How about you? Are you surprised?

Bill is upset that no one believes that he is the father. He maintains that he still could be Dannielynn's father saying, "Science schmience!"

We Visit A & W

So Bill and I took this week's coffee break to the nice people at Heritage Oaks Bank Central Services. On the way back from Paso Robles, Bill spotted a sign for A & W, "Do they still have those? Remember the Papa Burger and the Mama Burgers, Amy?" By now he is in full flashback mode. "When I was a kid you could take the frosty mug with you. They would bring the tray to your car." So there was only one option... Bill and I had to stop by A & W. So once inside Bill was in his glory, root beer in a frosty mug and a papa burger. He was so overjoyed by the experience, when we went to leave I took my tray over to the trash can. Bill took his back up to the counter... cutting in front of some woman on his way.Then as if he hadn't done enough, we are walking out the door and Bill turns to the whole restaurant and says, "Thanks, you've been great!" It was as though he was making a public appearance there and about to introduce the band. Then he turns back around, sees a bell by the door and rings and walks out. I am used to Bill embarrassing me, but he just raised the bar.
